Barbara Marti is an artist who has lived on Sanibel for nearly 20 years. She graduated with honors with a BFA from Mundelien College of Loyola University in Chicago, IL.

“I usually paint seascapes or beachscapes of Sanibel Island. I have lived here for nearly 20 years and am always inspired by its beauty. I would say my work is mostly impressionistic. Recently I have been using fluid acrylics, which are much more experimental in nature. I find this very freeing. And fun!”
